Job Description:
We’re looking for a part-time Textile Engineer to bring technical leadership, innovation, and quality excellence to Bearaby’s growing product roadmap.
In this role, you will oversee end-to-end quality assurance, from fabric sourcing to final production, while driving innovation in new materials for bedding and comfort-first apparel. You’ll partner closely with our global manufacturing network, our internal Design team, and external labs to ensure every Bearaby product meets the highest standards of comfort, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
Main responsibilities:
- Technical Ownership: Act as Bearaby’s textile lead, working closely with HQ and third-party manufacturers to ensure product quality, consistency, and process efficiency.
- Material Innovation: Partner with our Designer to develop and test innovative fabrics for Home and Apparel, with a focus on comfort, sustainability, and next-gen textile technologies.
- Quality Assurance & Audits: Conduct technical audits, lead factory inspections, and oversee quality assurance across the entire supply chain.
- Supplier Development: Proactively identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for new product developments across multiple global markets.
- Sampling & Testing: Manage sampling activities according to Standards and SIT protocols;
