IT MANAGER
Aim of the role
To be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems and TMS within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.
The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.
Responsibilities
- Local network administration and configuration
- System engineering for existing and new sites: management of software and PCs queries;
debugging;
to set-up telematic infrastructure, Wi-Fi, printer network, as well as the web interface for the operational side - Management of the local TMS, IT and computer systems, and support to the group IT team with the implementation of the group TMS
- To understand and solve customers’ needs and transfer the specifications to the group IT development team when appropriate
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Education and professional experience
- BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant role
- Hands-on experience setting up telematic infrastructures, Wi-Fi, printer networks, and web interfaces for operati
